Bill is a working commercial diver and owner of Island Diving, which provides diving services to the marine, motion picture and television industries, as well as providing scientific diving services to Stony Brook University’s School Of Marine And Atmospheric Sciences. Bill serves as Dive Team Leader for the Nesconset Fire Department Water Rescue Team, as well as training Public Safety divers in a variety of techniques including Underwater Search and Recovery, Rescue Diving and Ice Rescue Diving. Bill is a NAUI instructor and TDI Technical Diver with Advanced Tri-Mix Certification. Bill is also the Editor and Regional Correspondent for Northeast Dive News.
Bill enjoys working with the Northeast Diving Equipment Group as they restore vintage military and commercial diving equipment which they allow the diving public to experience at their Vintage Dive Rallies held several times per year at various locations around the Northeast. He is also an active instructor with the Handicapped Scuba Association of New Jersey, providing diving instruction for handicapped military veterans and disabled children at HSANJ events several times per year.
